GJD at ST18 Scotland

by Mark Rowe

The manufacturer and designer of electronic perimeter detection and LED illumination equipment, GJD, is among the exhibitors at the next Security TWENTY 18 event, ST18 Scotland, on Tuesday, May 1, at the Hilton Hotel on William Street, downtown Glasgow, the same venue as the previous, ST17 Scotland last autumn.

Delegates can talk to GJD, and watch interactive product demonstrations of the company’s detection and LED illumination products.

Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, GJD’s Sales and Marketing Director said: “Following a successful ST18 Midlands event, we are looking forward to exhibiting at ST18 Scotland and showing visitors our latest technology.”

GJD will be showing its full range of products including external motion detectors, Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators, laser sensors and IP technology. The company’s external IP range offers solutions for quick and easy installation, the UK firm says, suitable it says for those who are thinking about moving from analogue to IP, as well as experienced IP installers.

GJD’s IP enabled devices offer compatibility with most major video management software (VMS), CCTV and Smart Home platforms including Hikvision, Dahua, LILIN Surveillance, Network Optix, Mirasys Carbon, Milestone XProtect, Wavestore, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, URC and RTI. Others are constantly being added.

On the day, GJD is hosting a business card raffle for a chance to win a bottle of bubbly.

The ST 18 exhibition with conference alongside is free to attend; organisers Professional Security magazine ask that you register to attend in advance, to help gauge numbers for catering. You are welcome whether you are an installer, end user, consultant, security buyer, involved in private security, in the police or the armed forces. Early arrivals around the 8.30am opening can enjoy a free bacon sandwich; there’s also mid-morning tea and biscuits; and a hot buffet lunch.
