Cathedral seeks head of security

by Mark Rowe

St Paul’s Cathedral has a vacancy for a full-time permanent Head of Security and Resilience. This new role reflects a change in the delivery of the cathedral security activity.

The main purpose of the role is to understand the varied nature of the threat, assess the risk, develop policies to mitigate it and to manage a team that protects St Paul’s Cathedral and school, its staff, volunteers, worshippers and visitors. The person will manage security aspects of high profile events.

Visit https://www.stpauls.co.uk/current-vacancies.

Timetable

The closing date for applications is March 8; interviews to be held on March 30. The cathedral is looking for someone to be able to start in the role – paying up to £50k – as soon as possible and ideally by the end of April 2017.
