John Maddock's Farewell Dinner

As you know, John Maddock who was our Clerk for six years retired in October 2008. During that time he has helped us move from a Guild, to a Company without Livery and ultimately to full Livery status, as The 108th Worshipful Company in the City of London.

To mark his retirement, not only from our Company but also the City, The Master, Wardens and Court of Assistants propose to “dine him out.” The dinner is being held at Waterman’s Hall on Thursday 12th March 2009, 6.45 for 7.15pm. The dress code is Black Tie and badges of office.

The occasion will start with a Champagne Reception, followed by a three-course dinner and concluding with port or brandy and coffee. There will be a cash bar stirrup cup before carriages at 1030pm, as we must leave the Hall by 11.00pm.
